It is the oldest alternative professional theatre in Michigan. Located in the west side of Detroit, the nearly 200 seat entertainment venue affectionately called, "The Rep", has survived a half century of the city's ups and downs.
Recently, I had the pleasure of presenting a check to Artistic Managing Director Bruce Milan and Director of Development Leah Smith on behalf of WXYZ/WMYD and the Scripps Howard Foundation. Long live the Detroit Rep!
