WOODWARD DREAM CRUISE PREVIEW: GM NEXT
As General Motors prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary, WXYZ-TV creates a spectacular primetime special live from Woodward Avenue. This special program features interviews with key executives, and designers who have helped shape GM’s products. The special will also include historical highlights of the world’s largest automaker.

ACTION NEWS SPECIAL EDITION: WOODWARD DREAM CRUISE
As General Motors parades scores of classic cars down Woodward Avenue along the Dream Cruise route, WXYZ-TV will provide blanket coverage of this historic event. The comprehensive parade coverage will include live remotes from throughout the Woodward corridor, interviews with GM executives, previews of community events taking place on Woodward throughout the day, as well as breakfast coverage from Athens Coney Island. Aerial coverage of the parade will be provided from Chopper 7.

THE WOODWARD DREAM CRUISE
WXYZ-TV / Channel 7 celebrates the days when cruisin’ was king and hot rods ruled the road. This special program features live reports from up and down Woodward Avenue. Hosted by Action News Anchors Stephen Clark and Diana Lewis and a host of other Action News anchors and reporters. Chopper 7 will provide aerial coverage of America’s largest one-day automotive event.

WXYZ-TV SALUTE to CLASSIC TV
WXYZ-TV salutes Classic TV with four sitcoms from RTN 7. The following titles will air Saturday, August 16th in the 9:00 – 11:00 time period.

9:00 – 9:30pm Leave It to Beaver - “Captain Jack”
9:30 – 10:00pm The Monkees - “Royal Flush”
10:00 – 10:30pm McHale’s Navy – “Movies Are the Best Diversion”
10:30 – 11:00pm Dragnet - “The LSD Story”
