A $20 million dollar luxury housing complex has been proposed for Auburn Hills.
The Farmington Hills based Bacall Development submitted a plan to transform an industrial site to a luxe apartment complex called Fountain Circle of Auburn Hills.
If approved, the seven-building complex would be constructed in downtown Auburn Hills on 16.4 acres of land.
Right now, the project's blueprint consists of 258 units ranging in size from studios to 2-bedrooms, "with rent prices to be market rate and determined by other new complexes in the area."
Developers also plan to build a road the site, connecting Parkways Boulevard from Squirrel to Adams roads.
A planning commission meeting is set for Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.
City Council is expected to make a final decision on the proposal on Oct. 22.
