1 dead, five injured in house fire on Detroit's east side

One person is dead and five others are injured, including a firefighter, after a house fire early Thursday morning, according to sources.

We're told three victims were already outside of the home at Mack and Rohns when crews arrived. Firefighters rescued the two other victims from the first floor. 

According to police, a 55-year-old man is dead and a 55-year-old woman is in critical condition.

Police also say a 40-year-old man is in critical condition after jumping from the second floor of the house. An 18-year-old woman and 56-year-old woman were also injured, but they are expected to be ok.

Arson investigators are on the scene with the cause of the fire yet to be determined.
