Update: See the moment a 2-year-old Detroit kidnapping victim was rescued by police

A witness at the scene took video of the crash scene following a police pursuit. A toddler that was reported kidnapped was rescued, and is safe.

Detroit police provided an update after a kidnapped 2-year-old who prompted an AMBER Alert early Tuesday morning was found safe.

According to police, officers located the suspect, 42-year-old Grady Barrett on I-75 near the Ohio border and tried to pull him over.
Police said the suspect took off and they pursued him for nearly an hour through multiple counties and cities before he crashed at 7 Mile and Meyers on Detroit’s west side.
The suspect and another woman were arrested and the 2-year-old was found safe. 2-year-old Sondra Renee was taken to Children’s Hospital as a precaution.
Barrett suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. He is under arrest.

Detroit police say a 2-year-old girl who was taken early Tuesday morning is safe after the suspect crashed on Detroit's west side.
Two people were arrested after the chase, according to police.
Police were chasing the suspect throughout metro Detroit for nearly an hour before they crashed on the city's west side near 7 Mile and Meyers.
The car rolled over, and multiple emergency crews are on scene.
Grady Lamar Barrett, 42, is the suspect who allegedly took 2-year-old Sondra Renee early this morning from her aun't house.

Michigan State Police troopers are allegedly chasing the suspect wanted for abducting a 2-year-old Detroit girl at gunpoint. The abduction prompted an AMBER Alert.
