DETROIT (WXYZ) — Four people suffered burn injuries following a boat fire at Riverside Marina in Detroit Thursday.
The incident happened at 11000 Freud. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene around 6:54 p.m.
According to Deputy Fire Commissioner Dave Fornell, two women – ages 27 and 35 – sustained burns to the legs, and two men – ages 31 and 50 – had burn injuries to the legs and feet.
All four were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The cause of the boat fire is still being investigated.
