A 99-year old Army veteran checked one last item off of his bucket list.
Saturday, he flew in a B-25 Bomber from the Yankee Air Museum.
Former Staff Sergeant George Lusko served during WWII.
He was an anti-aircraft gunner. His job was to take down enemy planes.
He eventually got his pilot’s license, but had a bigger dream in mind.
Erin Griffiths, with Story Pointe Saline Assisted Living, says they took Lusko to the Museum and he loved the plane.
“If I get up in that I could die happy," Lusko told them.
The staff was able to raise the money for the flight.
Only two dozen B-25 Bomber aircrafts are still flying in the United States.
