A new project from Anthony Bourdain is set to shine a spotlight on Detroit's glory days.
CNN announcedthis week that the television star will be producing a new four-part docuseries called "Detroit 1963: once in a great city".
It will show how Detroit's auto industry was booming, and how Motown ruled the airwaves back in the 1960s, according to a news release from CNN. At that time, America believed in the power of big corporations, and looked to the government and unions to solve its problems.
Bourdain will act as an executive producer on the project.
The series is expected to air some time next year.
