April is Autism Awareness Month and the Autism Alliance of Michigan is working to showcase its work promoting the benefits employers get from hiring adults with autism.
One company that has been a long-time advocate for people impacted by autism is DTE Energy.
Vice Chairman and Chief Administrative Officer Dave Meador and Michigan Lt. Gov. Brian Calley, who both have daughters on the autism spectrum, joined 7 Action News to takl more about Autism Awareness Month.
