Troy police say the body of a 61-year-old woman was found in a pond in a subdivision on Thursday morning.
According to police, the woman's body was found in the pond around 7 a.m. in the Emerald Lakes subdivision off of Square Lake between Rochester and John R.
Police say the woman was out looking for a dog last night when she disappeared. All signs point to it being an accidental drowning.
