DETROIT (WXYZ) — An early morning fire destroys discount store in Southwest Detroit.

Fire officials say the fire broke out around 2 a.m. at the Nice Price Wholesale store on West Vernor near Junction. The family-owned business has been around for 20 years, the owner said.

There have been no reports of injuries.

Crews spent over six hours at the scene battling smoke and flames and putting out hot spots.

There's been no word yet on how this fire started.
