SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — A woman was pulled out of a car after it rammed into a jewelry store in Southfield in the area of 10 Mile and Telegraph.
Witnesses at the scene said the car went airborne and flew into the store. Workers from nearby store 1-800 Blinds needed medical help after inhaling smoke. The car reportedly caught fire with a woman inside.
Workers said police eventually pulled the woman out of the car.
Southbound Telegraph at 10 Mile has reopened.
Waiting to hear from police/fire but workers heard they found a pulse on the woman before she left — I witnessed oxygen being given to workers who were sick from taking in smoke while trying to rescue woman as flames started. So, so scary. @wxyzdetroit
