DETROIT (WXYZ) — A Detroit woman is still shaken after a car slammed into her front porch and burst into flames overnight on Detroit's west side.

The woman told 7 Action News reporter Jennifer Ann Wilson she was awaken by a loud boom around 3:00 a.m. When she came outside, she found a car into her porch on fire.

Police say a car with three passengers – two women, one man – crashed into four trees and only stopped after hitting another tree. The driver reportedly lost control in the area of Greenfield and Grand River on Sussex. There were no seen injuries, police say.

Thankfully, there was not much damage to the woman's home, and she is doing okay.
