Inspectors with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development's Weights and Measures division reported they found a credit card skimmer at a gas station in Ann Arbor this week.
According to the department, there have been 43 skimmers found in Michigan since August.
This skimmer was located at Midwestern Petroleum Inc. located at 5680 Jackson Rd.
Other cities where skimmers were found include: Chelsea, Birmingham, Roseville, Rochester Hills, Detroit, Livonia, Dearborn, Howell, Westland, Wixom Belleville, New Hudson and Ann Arbor.
Skimmers can be installed discreetly, and steal your debit and credit card numbers every time a credit card is swiped at the pump.
