Detroit is the unhealthiest city in America, according to a new study from WalletHub. The study ranked 150 cities in the United States with the Motor City coming in dead last.
According to the study, Detroit has a total health score of 28.37. To get that score, analysts at WalletHub compared the most populated cities across four key dimensions: Health care, food, fitness and green space. Green space includes parkland acres per capita, quality of parks, hiking trails, running trails and walking trails per capita and more.
In all, Detroit ranks 148th in health care, 142nd in food, 148th in fitness and 120th in green space.
San Francisco is healthiest city in the U.S., according to WalletHub, with a score of 68.06. They rank 29th in health care, first in food, 37th in fitness and third in green space.
