Police have started an internal investigation into a fatal car crash that happened Sunday afternoon on Detroit's west side.
The crash occurred at 12:15 p.m. at the intersection of Santa Clara and Kentucky streets.
Detroit police say a black man in his 20s was driving eastbound on Santa Clara when he hit a parked car and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene by first responders.
According to police, the vehicle the victim was driving was reported stolen out of Dearborn.
No other injuries were reported. This is an ongoing investigation.
