Detroit Police searching for missing man diagnosed with schizophrenia

Detroit Police are searching for a missing 65-year-old man diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Johnny Lawson was last seen by his caregiver the morning of Oct. 4 in the area of East Grand Boulevard and Gratiot. 

He is described as a Black male, 5-feet 10-inches, 142 pounds with black and gray hair and beard. Lawson has a noticeable lump on his forehead. 

Lawson was last seen dressed in a collared shirt, blue jeans and black dress shoes. 

Police say he is in good physical condition despite being diagnosed with schizophrenia.
