Farmington Hills police arrest bank robbery suspect

The Farmington Hills Police Department has made an arrest in connection with three bank robberies.

According to police, Deshawn Browning robbed two banks in Farmington Hills and a third in Southfield.  He handed the teller a note demanding money.

The Oakland County Prosecutors Office authorized a two-count arrest warrant for bank robbery.

He was taken into custody Tuesday, September 19 in Detroit.

The robberies happened in May and June.

Browning is in the Oakland County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.

He is due back in court September 27 for a preliminary exam.
