Ryon Travis, 32, has been charged with possessing, producing and distributing child pornography. The father of seven is also charged with sex trafficking allegedly involving an adult woman.
The investigation started when W. Bloomfield Twp. police started working on an identity theft case. Someone's credit card had been compromised, so police followed the trail of purchases made with that card. That led them to execute search warrants on three locations in Detroit.
When they executed a search warrant at a home on Turell, police say they discovered Travis inside with three women he identified as his "wives." During that search, they retrieved his phone. When they searched it, investigators discovered disturbing images involving sex acts and a young child.
After discovering the disturbing pictures, police went to arrest Travis. That's when they say they found a woman restrained in the home. They say she was possibly be held to perform sex acts.
Stephany Moore, who says she's one of Travis' wives, says she's still in shock over it all.
"It hurts. This is someone I love. I don't think he did this, I really don't, but they (the police) keep saying they have proof."
The case has been turned over to the US attorney's office.
