The First Lady made a special trip to a middle school in metro Detroit on Monday.
Parents at Orchard Lake Middle School in West Bloomfield Township were sent an email over the weekend announcing the appearance.
Melania Trump joined Education Secretary Betsy DeVos on a visit and tour of the middle school.
The visit was focused on helping children practice respect, kindness and inclusion.
The First Lady also spent time in the cafeteria to shed light on the "No One Eats Alone" concept that aims to help students feel less isolated.
