Michigan State Police say they arrested five people after five separate raids in metro Detroit on Wednesday morning.

The raids at locations in Detroit and Taylor were in connection to three homicide investigations and a carjacking investigation.

The Major Crimes Unit was conducting the raid along with local police agencies, and federal agents from the DEA and FBI.

Police say all five locations are secure and there is no threat to the public, but to expect police presence while the raids continue.
