The country's largest carry-out only pizza chain is about to get a new home.
Little Caesars broke ground on their new headquarters in downtown Detroit today. The building will be on Woodward Avenue at Columbia. That's just feet from their current offices inside the Fox Theatre and just a quick walk down Woodward from the new Little Caesars Arena.
In December 2014, Little Caesars announced their plans to build a new world headquarters. The 9-story, 205,000 square foot space will be double the size of its current office.
Today, company leaders and city officials gathered for the groundbreaking. It marks the first newly constructed headquarters to be built in Detroit in more than a decade.
The construction and expansion of the Little Caesars corporate offices will bring about 600 high-skill jobs to Detroit.
