Despite May 4th being on Thursday, one group is celebrating Star Wars' 40th anniversary all weekend long with costumes, drinking, music and more.
SPACE DIVE - Episode III is happening Friday and Saturday at the Tangent Gallery/Hastings Street Ballroom at 715 E. Milwaukee in downtown Detroit.
According to the Facebook event page, the Tangent Gallery will transform once again into an "immersive recreation of the Mos Eisley Cantina" from Star Wars.
Costumes are mandatory for the night and you have to be ages 21 and up to attend.
