The jury deliberating in the alleged rape of a flight attendant could not reach a verdict in the case.
Dwuan Parkman was on trial accused of the rape at a hotel near Detroit Metro Airport.
The judge released the jury and a re-trial is scheduled for March 18.
The flight attendant who was allegedly raped in her room near Detroit Metro Airport last year took the stand on Wednesday.
She gave compelling testimony and mentioned how she woke up while her attack was underway.
The jury saw surveillance video of the defendant at the motel and at a restaurant where he appeared to be targeting his young victim, who was a brand new flight attendant.
The victim, who was 18 at the time, testified but the judge did not allow her to be recorded.
One of her pilots also testified that he saw her the next morning, and she was not the bright, young woman he knew.
Romulus police last year released video from the Days Inn motel where the attack happened as they tried to find the man responsible.
The hotel manager testified, saying the suspect told him he was a concerned boyfriend of the victim.
