The Kellogg Company recently announced layoffs and a plant closure.
The company is closing its Detroit Distribution Center in New Hudson, Michigan, citing a change in its sales and distribution model.
At the center, 211 employees will be permanently laid off. Their last day will be toward the end of the summer between July 29 and August 11.
Union employees are covered by bumping rights, so if they're willing to relocate, they could be re-hired by the company.
The Kellogg Company says they first began notifying employees back in February.
