Local fast food employees are joining a nationwide Labor Day Strike.
They are demanding $15 an hour as well as union rights to fix the economic and political systems in the country.
The employees claim these systems are rigged to benefit big corporations.
Thousands of workers are expected to walk off their jobs on Labor Day if their demands are not met.
The strike will begin at 6:00 a.m. Monday at McDonald's on West Grand Boulevard in Detroit.
