LIVONIA, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 45-year-old Detroit man died Thursday after suffering a medical emergency while driving, police say.
Livonia Police responded to reports of a minor traffic accident in the area of Schoolcraft Road near Inkster around 9:20 this morning,
At the scene, officers saw a single vehicle accident. An investigation revealed the man experienced a medical emergency behind the wheel, causing him to crash.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, police say.
