Royal Oak police say a 49-year-old man died while shoveling snow early Tuesday morning outside of his home.
According to police, the man was shoving snow from his driveway and went back inside. A family member found him collapsed inside the home and called 911 around 6:50 a.m.
The family member began CPR but despite efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
