The Michigan Court of Appeals heard arguments Tuesday afternoon on the presidential recount appeal request filed by Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette
Schuette filed the lawsuit to stop the recount.
The request for a hand recount was filed by Green Party Presidential Candidate Jill Stein.
Schuette called the request "frivolous" and "expensive," saying it would cost taxpayers millions of dollars.
The judges in the case will issue a written statement with their ruling.
