The Detroit Police Department is investigating after a QLINE streetcar was vandalized in the city.

Police say someone spray-painted the streetcar and facility located at 7520 Woodward.

Workers have been inside the Penske Tech Center garage all morning trying wash and re-paint the street cars.

We're told it happened around 12:40 a.m. Monday when someone went into the gated area, painting ACAB on the train. It's an anti-police acronym with an obscenity.

The area has many surveillance cameras, but police have not released the video.

Currently, the QLINE cars have been out doing test runs. It's expected the QLINE will open to passengers this spring.
