More than 665,000 homes remain without power in metro Detroit after Wednesday's high winds.
Nearly 800,000 customers were affected by the outages.
DTE Energy reports that this is the "largest weather event" in DTE's history.
The weather caused more than 4,000 downed power lines. DTE says crews are working around the clock to make repairs.

As for building closures, the Macomb County Administration Building and 33rd District Court in Woodhaven is closed today.
More than 300 schools are also closed across metro Detroit today.

Expected restoration times will be announced around noon today.
Warming centers:
- Belleville High School located at 501 W. Columbia Avenue in Belleville
- Costick Center located at 28600 Eleven Mile in Farmington Hills can be used as a warming center from March 9 through March 12 (7 a.m. to 11 p.m.)
- Kennedy Memorial Building in Lincoln Park
