Family members say a 10-year-old who disappeared from her home around 9:00 p.m. Saturday night has been found in Ferndale.
Ariel Powers' mother discovered she was missing from the home in the 20400 block of Wisconsin at around 11:00 p.m.
Police say she had left a note saying she wanted to harm herself. Family members say she is being taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Ariel is 5'4" and weighs about 100 pounds. She has a slim build, light brown complexion, brown braided hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink jogging suit with a pink backpack with pictures of a donut on the bag.
Ariel is in good physical condition and has never gone missing before.
