4 shot, 2 killed in multiple shootings overnight

Detroit police are investigating four separate shootings overnight that left four people shot and two people killed.

The first shooting happened just before 11 p.m. near Nashville and Strasburg on the city's east side. Police say the victim was found in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound to the body. The 25-year-old was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

The second incident happened just after midnight in the 5500 block of Pacific near Tireman on the city's west side.

According to police, a 50-year-old man was involved in an accident where his vehicle hit the tree. When he was taken to the hospital, workers discovered he had been shot. He is currently in critical condition.

A 23-year-old man was shot in his body at a banquet hall on E. Forest Ave. around 2:15 a.m. Saturday. Police say the man heard shots and felt pain but did not see the shooter. He is currently in serious condition.

The final incident happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 16000 block of West Warren on the city's west side.

Police say the 42-year-old man was walking out of a coney island when he was shot "multiple times" in the body, killing him.

Right now, police say the suspects are both black males, one of whom is in his 30s with ark complexion, wearing a skull cap and dark colored sweatshirt.
