A disturbing act of animal cruelty has been caught on home surveillance video on Detroit's east side.
The video shows a man egging on his two dogs to attack a defenseless kitten, even poking the animal with a stick. The dog then grabs the kitten and runs away.
Greg Kelly, who's also a member of the anti-violence group Detroit 300, says the kitten was found mauled to death on Collingham on July 24th.
Kelly tells us, "I feel like it was a real cruel thing to do. People out here are doing some real nasty things to animals."
Now Kelly, along with Detroit Dog Rescue, want this man punished.
Detroit Dog Rescue is now offering a $1,500 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
Kristina Rinaldi with DDR says, "You are definitely looking at a case of animal cruelty, animal abuse. It's a sadistic act, and we believe if he does it to an animal, he'll do it to a child."
