People struggling with addiction find help and hope at Salvation Army

Our society is fighting an epidemic. The opioid addiction in our country is killing people every single day. It’s hitting the every demographic, from the city to the suburbs. We are in the midst of a crisis. However, those who are tangled up in it, do not have to be anymore.

“The Salvation Army is a place for new beginnings. There is a place to start a new and this is the place”, says Larry Manzella, Administrator of the Salvation Army of Southeast Michigan.

The Adult Rehabilitation Center has beds available for men and women who are looking to start their journey toward recovery. The Salvation Army has a trained and professional staff to help healing does struggling with addiction, mind, body and soul.

“Right now we have beds available and it’s very frustrating to us, because we know that there are men and women, who need help. We just want them to know we are here and that we’re ready for them”, sys Manzella.
