A day after Detroit Police Chief James Craig promised to have arrests made in the brawl caught on video outside of Greektown Casino, he said two of the eight suspects have been arrested.
According to Craig, two of the most violent suspects were arrested and they are still looking for the other six.
The two suspects in custody were the ones seen kicking the victim on the ground, and one even went into the victim's pockets to steal things.
All of the suspects, according to Craig, are from the city of Inkster. Craig said they know who the other six suspects are and urged them to turn themselves in.
"You don't get to come in Detroit and engage in that kind of behavior," he said. "We have eyes everywhere."
According to Craig, the victim is expected to recover.
Based on their investigation, they don't believe there was any gang affiliation involved, just foolishness.
