Santa Claus boarded Detroit's mail boat, the J.W. Westcott II, to make a very special Christmas Eve delivery on the Detroit River.
The big man piloted the mail boat along the river to a freighter that was unloading at Zug Island. Santa delivered mail and a case of live lobsters to the freighter.
The website Boatnerd.com posted video of Santa's delivery on YouTube.
In a Facebook post they said, "The lobsters came from a crew man's parents who live in Maine." That post said the lobsters will be part of the freighter crew's Christmas dinner.
