We're taking you inside a medical marijuana grow house in metro Detroit

A metro Detroit medical marijuana grow house is giving 7 Action News an exclusive inside look into their operation.

They decided to open their doors of the location we will not disclosure, to show how grow operations can be compliant, safe and patient driven.

The grow operation uses state of the art technology.

Right now they are legally operating under the patient-caregiver model. However, in December the state of Michigan will start accepting applications for Michiganders obtain licenses to create commercial operating facilities.

"This is the green rush. It's real the world needs to come aboard," says one of the caregivers.

"With the amount of smarts we have between all of the universities and the ability now to use the agricultural product. Man the sky is the limit to what Michigan has to offer in the industry," says Craig Aronoff, attorney for the Legal Cannabis legal group.

They believe this could take growing, buying, selling and the creating of medical grade marijuana in the Great Lakes state to the next level
