Eastpointe police are on the hunt for three men that authorities are calling armed and dangerous – accused of holding up two stores at gunpoint on the same night.
Eastpointe police say the three guys walked into the Family Dollar store on Gratiot around 9:30 on Thursday night and held the place up at gun point.
The store is in a busy shopping area on a busy street and people say times have changed in Eastpointe.
"You could come over here and just never have to worry about nothing like that happening,” says a man named John. “We have to be careful now."
Less than 2 mile away, police say the same criminals hit up the 7/11 on East Nine Mile - another holdup less than 2 hours later and just 1/2 a mile away from the police department.
If you have any information, you’re asked to call Eastpointe police.
