Detroit Pistons Guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope arrested for DUI

7 Action News has learned that Detroit Pistons Guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was arrested early this morning in Auburn Hills on suspicion of drunk driving.

Caldwell-Pope was stopped for speeding on Auburn Road near Squirrel Road at around 2:50 a.m.

Officers detected the smell of an intoxicant and gave him a field sobriety test.

He was determined to be under the influence and arrested.

A breathalyzer determined he had a blood alcohol level of .08. That's the legal limit.

Police say he was very cooperative.
