Former Survivor contestant Michael Skupin has been found guilty of four counts of possessing child sexually abusive materials.
A jury also acquitted Skupin of two other counts.
Skupin had been charged with six counts of possession of Child Sexually Abusive Materials, five counts of Larceny by Conversion and one count of Racketeering-Conducting a Criminal Enterprise for his role in allegedly running and promoting a Ponzi scheme.
The Attorney General's office says the investigation began into the alleged Ponzi scheme when Skupin contacted a news reporter.
Skupin's laptop was searched in conjunction with the investigation and that's when, officials say, the images of underage children were discovered.
He is set to be sentenced on December 27.
