Madison Heights police are investigating after the body of a man was found inside a vehicle on fire Monday morning.
According to police, the fire happened in the parking lot of a liquor store on John R just south of 11 Mile.
Police say the fire originated inside the vehicle, which was occupied by 48-year-old Scott Kiesling from Madison Heights. Kiesling was found dead inside the car.
The fire also spread to a second parked vehicle, according to police.
Right now, police are investigating the cause of the fire, and the Oakland County Medical Examiner is investigating the cause of death.
