The man, a friend of the woman's, was shot in the eye and is able to talk.
Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard released a statement saying she was shot in the back of the head. Sources are telling WXYZ that Quigley's estranged wife was shot in the nasal cavity and currently has a feeding tube down her throat.

Both are cooperating with police.
The woman was reportedly in the process of filing for a divorce and getting a personal protection order against Quigley when the shooting occurred.
A witness says the male victim is the father of a 3-year-old girl who was in the apartment at the time of the shooting. She was reportedly uninjured.
Editor's note: A previous version of this story referred to the male victim as the boyfriend of the alleged shooter's estranged wife. This information came from a neighbor, but police are uncertain if the man was a boyfriend or a friend. We are updating our stories to reflect information from the police unless we get further verification.
