A 16-year-old boy is in custody and police tell 7 Action News he’s the suspect in his mother’s murder.

Thirty-five-year-old Nada Huranieh fell out of the 2nd story window of her Farmington Hills home early Monday morning.

Wednesday, Farmington Hills police confirm she was murdered, but they haven’t released her exact cause of death.

Police confirm her 16-year-old son is in custody and is a suspect in his mother’s murder.

"We have seen the son ride on his hover board but that's about it, the cars just go out of the garage and come back in the garage,” said neighbor who didn’t want to be identified.

She said she hardly saw the family and never heard any signs of turmoil inside the home.

"These people kind of just keep to themselves and there's not too much on in and out of the house,” she said.

"It's a tough situation, I mean I have kids of my own and it's hard to imagine what was really going in that house that would have led to this,” said the neighbor.

The victim was going through a divorce from Dr. Bassel Altantawi, whose medical license was suspended by the state of Michigan in February due to negligence, incompetence, lack of good moral character, criminal conviction and unethical business practice.

Police say he is not involved in the murder.
