With fall here, there is a Pumpkin Spice overload. Now, that trend is going to people's heads - literally. It's called Pumpkin Spice Hair.
People are "dyeing" to try this new version of Pumpkin Spice!
"Latte colors. Starbucks names essentially," said Angel Baker. She is the owner of Red Head Salon in Canton.
Pumpkin Spice hair is a style when your hair is dyed warm colors.
"A lot of Fall colors, a lot of oranges, reds, coppers."
The Red Head Salon in Canton knows the look well.
"We are that unique name and people want that unique color," Baker said. "I like to tell clients to look at a leaf that gives that kind of different tones, those reds, copper, gold's, really, really rich tones."
The look has become popular on Instagram.
"I think somebody put a hashtag on it and it just went viral," she explained. "A lot of times your celebrities will be setting the trends, so it's being that there is Pinterest, social media we get a lot of our clients that are like, 'oh have you see this trend'."
Who would best fit this trend? Angela says it depends on skin tone and eye color.
"I always look at the iris of the eye and that kind of gives me a little bit more of an idea of what would work with their tone," she explained. "Green eye color and olive skin, you can do all different ranges of red."
But if you commit to this look, you have to keep it up.
"Red is a really hard color to stay in the hair, so the maintenance of it is something I ask clients if they are not willing to come in every 6 weeks to get a refresh, or 4 weeks, then it's probably not a good idea."
If you want to try Pumpkin Spice hair, use colors that work with your skin tone and make sure you are on the same page with your stylist before any dye is applied.
