A case of stranger danger has a neighborhood on the lookout in Brownstown Township. A man targeted a 5-year old boy on his way to school Monday.
A strange man was reportedly driving around, looking for young kids near the bus stop at the Hamptons Apartments.
They were headed to Gudith Elementary school right down the road.
Katie Kazy, 10, claims she also noticed a strange man a few days before on Friday.
Kazy told us, "He was just driving around the bus stop and staring at us."
Investigators say a man tried to coax a 5-year-old boy into his van, but a nearby relative saw it go down, and came to the rescue.
We're told the man is white, in his 40s or 50s, clean cut, hair combed back, glasses, and was rolling around in a dark green mini van, maybe a Dodge Caravan.
Police are urging parents to talk to their kids about strangers.
