We're learning more about the violent past of the man accused of killing his two step children and two biological children and then assaulting their mother.
Gregory Green served time for a 1991 murder, in which officials say he pleaded no contest to strangling his then wife, who was six months pregnant.
Officials say in that case he called police, told them what he had done, waited for them at his Detroit home and let them in.
Green only had one infraction in prison. That occurred in 2002, when he and another prisoner got into a fist fight over a TV.
He was denied parole four times for various reasons, including not showing remorse for his crime. He then completed several cognitive programs and was parole in 2008.
