Only two left lanes are open on southbound I-275 from 8 Mile to 7 Mile Wednesday morning.
The closures are due to Hazmat cleanup from a semi-truck fire that occurred Tuesday afternoon. MDOT says to expect backups.
HEADS UP-SB 275 from 8 Mile to 7 Mile has ONLY 2 LEFT LANES OPEN, 2 right closed & 7 Mile ramp to SB closed. ETA reopen noon. Backups already. Avoid area. Hazmat clean up from semi fire Tues pm.

MSP is reporting that there were no injuries.
Southbound I 275 just past Seven Mile is a semi truck fire. Left lane is currently open. Some ramps are closed in the area to keep traffic out of the area. No injuries. pic.twitter.com/TKD0GcNH3t
