FARMINGTON, Mich. (WXYZ) — A sinkhole has closed down southbound Middlebelt Road between 12 Mile and 13 Mile in Farmington Hills, according to the Oakland County Roads Commission.
The commission tweeted out a warning to drivers around 4:30 a.m. Friday morning.
Sources tell 7 Action News, the hole is about 6-feet deep, and so far no cars have been swallowed up.
Drivers are urged to take another route.
