There's no shortage of crazy animals being found in Detroit. For instance, last year, an alligator was captured after being found wandering on the city's west side.
But this is a new one.
A video making the rounds on Twitter shows a man walking a kangaroo, who is hopping pretty quickly, on the city's west side. The Birchcrest street sign is visible in the video. Birchcrest runs a couple streets east of Livernois.

While some may doubt it's in Detroit, the video also features a portion of one Detroit Snapchat location filter. You have to be in the city to get that filter.
Action News went to the location on Detroit's west side and quickly learned that the kangaroo was there with a company known as Exotic Zoo for a child's birthday party.
The owner of the traveling zoo says they are state and federally licensed, and they often give presentations to children for entertainment and educational purposes.
